This city, which would become our home to this day. Its positioning close to the states of Mato Grosso do Sul and São Paulo, also its vocation towards cassava production made that our investments, in our early years, were focused on the commercialization of cassava starch and sour starch.
With our cassava processing already consolidated, our efforts turned to expanding our portfolio. Thinking of meeting even more the latent needs of the industry, we started to produce glucose syrup and modified starches based on cassava.
We invested again in expanding our production capacity and consolidate ourselves as a grand corn starch producer.
New chapter of our history. From 2016, we have turned our attention to products with greater added value, such as pregelatinized starch, maltodextrin and powdered glucose.
We invested in the construction of a new plant for the production of organic acids, such as citric acid and sodium citrate from corn grinding, being the first genuinely Brazilian company to master this technology.
Our focus towards increasing complete solutions accompanies the growth of Indemil, which plans its growth strategy based on the demand of our customers.
Our investments are not just in our factories, but also in the people who run them and on the environment. We are responsible for creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs, as well as for increasing revenue and economic development in the states of Paraná and São Paulo. In addition, we are committed to the full use of our waste and to the energy efficiency of our units.
